This is a direct-client opening for a Salesforce Developer located in Boca Raton, Fl. This is a 4-6 month contract.
Our client recently adopted Salesforce as its primary CRM software and we are seeking an SME on everything Salesforce who can join our team on a temporary basis to maximize our customizations and assist in the development of the software. In this role, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in creating and maintaining reports that illustrate the productivity increases from sales, marketing and other support that we provide. You will be expected to possess strong knowledge of VisualForce and Salesforce development with experience in coding using APEX. Further, to be as successful in this position, solid knowledge of various other programming languages will be critical. The most successful person for this role is someone who has gone into other organizations before with the intent and goal of integration and training and has come out with a successfully implemented and fully functioning Salesforce product that every team member can optimally utilize.
Responsibilities:
Build functionalities in a sandbox with VisualForce or Apex before deploying to production
Act as a Project or Product Manager during implementation and customization for the rest of the internal personnel
Customize applications by ensuring the most efficient use of point-and-click capabilities in the Salesforce platform in adherence with our specifications
Successfully control the adaptability of APIs for integration of information and processes to enable all systems within the CRM to communicate effectively
Design new Salesforce solutions and create project execution strategy and techniques
Fix bugs for the smooth functionality of the Salesforce platform
Maintain documentation throughout development to provide feedback to the technology team relating to any customer/interaction/support issues that may arise
Ensure all work is subjected to cross training with internal employees for future bug fixing and application support
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business Administration or related field
3+ years managing Salesforce
3+ years utilizing InContact
At least 2 successful projects in customizing and implementing Salesforce
Self-driven, ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
