Job Title: Business Analyst-FTE

Location: Memphis, TN (Local Only)
Duration: 1 + years in increments of 6 months.
Must be Phone then F2F.

Job Description: Actively solicits, analyzes and negotiates customer requirements in collaboration with a Product Owner in order to ensure that the project team can develop solutions that meet the customer's needs. Establishes and maintains agreement between customer and team on requirements for the deliverables.  Performs business analysis, change enablement documentation, and training documenting business processes, user stories, use cases, etc.  Assists the Product Owner and team to ensure improve software delivery outcomes. 

Requires thorough knowledge of personal computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software applications i.e. Visio, Adobe, MS Project that would be used for documentation purposes; ability to effectively and concisely communicate with the business community through verbal, written, and face-to-face communications; ability to network cross-functionally on a project team consisting of 2-3 business units; ability to develop relationships with the mid to upper levels of the user opportunity and IT personnel, exercising strong interpersonal skills; proven ability to work well individually and within the team environment; delegates and shares decision-making with teammates as appropriate; must possess proven strong meeting facilitation skills; ability to develop relationships with the user community and IT personnel exercising strong interpersonal skills; knowledge and understanding of agile software development life cycle; knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 year's work experience in an analyst, business analyst, or development capacity; experience in multiple business functions areas, including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, eCommerce and Point of Sale and working with business users to define requirements.  Experience in SaaS solutions, specifically Oracle Fusion, Workday, and Salesforce eCommerce.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Utilizes extensive business knowledge to drive and participate in gathering requirements for Information Technology projects with a minimum level of supervision. Assists cross functional client groups with the documentation and analysis of business and user requirements in collaboration with a Product Owner. Consults with users to identify current business processes, identify current operating procedures, and assist in the clarification of fundraising programs or program objectives.

3. Assists customers with troubleshooting problems. Applies practical business operational knowledge to solve IT application issues while considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environments. Performs system configurations to assist the team   
4. Produces formal, written business requirements documentation using the standard templates provided in the software development methodology.     
5. Consistently partners with the system analysts and technical team to ensure that the technical specifications meet the business requirements. Assists the team in development of test scripts, cases, and processes until User Acceptance Sign-off.   
6. Performs Change enablement Documentation and training sessions for customers.  This includes helping the Product Owner with release notes, training documentation updates, and in person training.   
7. Primary responsibilities include projects which require new development or changes to an existing system; cover multiple development platforms, may involve a third party vendor integration, and are considered to be medium to large in complexity and budget.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.    

2. Performs job duties as assigned as part of ALSACs Business Continuity Management Program, including annual maintenance and testing of business continuity, disaster recovery and emergency response plans
