Role: JAVA UI Developer Urgent
Location: Hoffman Estates, IL or AUSTIN, TX OR SEATTLE, WA
Duration: Long term contract
Essential Skills:
- Solid understanding of modern web fundamentals of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
- Understanding of modern web layout techniques such as Flexbox and Grid
- Understanding of progressive enhancement in web design
- Understanding of common web UX patterns
- Experience building systems compatible across multiple browsers
- Good background in one or more modern web frameworks such as Angular or React
- Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Experience with modern tooling such as npm, Grunt, and Webpack
- Experience with CSS pre-processors such as Sass and Less
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Jest
- Experience using browser-based developer tools
- Experience with backend web development in a dynamic language such as Python, JavaScript or PHP
- Experience using Git to manage source code
- Good communication and time management skills
- Good problem solving, analytical & troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have:
- Python web development experience
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MS-SQL
- Experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
