Position: Salesforce Solution Architect
Location: Waltham, MA
Duration: 12+ month
Position Description:
· Our client is a Large Tech Company specializing in the Energy/Utilities industry and is located in Waltham, MA. Our client is looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to fill a 12+ month contract position.
· Our client is going through a large-scale project to integrate the Salesforce platform into their technical environment. In the past our client had outsourced all of their Salesforce duties and they are now bringing that back in-house.
· The integration work will be performed with Mulesoft.
Key Accountabilities
· You will be responsible for owning and delivering complex cloud-based solutions using technologies of Salesforce and related app exchange partners.
· Responsible for the architecture and design of complex solution components (e.g., integration, security, custom development).
· Responsible for leading all stages of the software development life cycle.
· You will own reviewing design elements and signing off on the overall technical design.
· Responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with the project teams.
· You will identify and confirm technical design risks and develop mitigating approaches and provide level of effort estimates for technical portion of solutions.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years' of overall professional experience working on software development projects
· 5+ years' experience working on Salesforce configuration and implementation projects
· Experience overseeing the development and implementation of CRM projects
· Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively work with busines and technical stakeholders
Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):
· Salesforce Certification as a Platform Developer I and II or Platform App Builder.
