Java Developer

Duration: Long Term Contract 

Location: Reston, VA

 

Job Description:

 

·         Work closely with business users to understand the requirements

·         Work closely with offshore team on daily basis to track the design, development and testing

·         Enough technical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, analyze and resolve issues

·         Provide production support 

·         Analyze and debug Application/Client Server connectivity problems

 

Required qualifications :

·         3+ years' of experience in Java Web Application Development

 

Preferred Skills:

·         Java Technologies: JDK, J2EE, ESB, Servlets, JSP and JDBC

·         Framework:  Struts, Hibernate and Spring

·         Web service technologies: ( SOAP, REST) and database ( Oracle 11g)

·         UI Framework technologies : CSS, HTML, Ajax, JQuery, JS, XML

·         Servers : Jboss Application server, Apache Tomcat server, SQL Server

·         Experience with distributed source control systems, preferably SVN
