Description:
The User Interaction (UI) Designer & Digital Media Developer will use UI/UX
design best practices, conceptual models, personas, trends, and internal
documentation standards to perform complex designs for company initiatives.
The person will analyze business requirements, company services & products,
production systems, other designs, and information from usability or focus
group studies, to convert business objectives into a detailed blueprint of
what the user experience should be. UI/UX Design documentation to be
developed includes:
Decks with designs and user experience.
Detailed System / User Flows experience and interactions.
User Interface Designs and User Interaction:
Wireframes/Animations/Videos.
Images from concept to Final (including icons, banners, images, etc.).
Accessibility and Compliance Requirements associated to interactions.
Page Elements and Navigation Requirements.
Copywriting placement.
Prototypes.
Finally, the UI Designer plays a key role as the subject matter expert in
TracFone's customer facing systems and performs a liaison function between
the business side of the organization, marketing agencies and the technical
(IT) side.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES List the major

Responsibilites ;
User Interaction/Interface Design:
Design User Interaction/Interfaces (UI) and User Experience (UX) solutions
for TracFone transactional processes and customer interactions with
TracFone systems. To maximize and improve the customer experience while
satisfying business and operational needs, the person will:
Collaborate with UX Designers, UX Solution Designers & Training Development
Documentation, and any other department as needed, to define and implement
innovative experiences.
Execute all visual designs stages from concept to final.
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to
complex design roadblocks.
Define preferred content delivery methods for customer facing information
depending on complexity of ideas/concepts and channel needs and design
content, including creation of videos and a range of educational materials.
Use UI Design best practices along with a high level of analytical
reasoning, creative problem solving, common sense, and acquired TracFone
knowledge.
Analyze multiple information sources and complex processes to understand
needs and propose the solution. Information to analyze includes: business
requirements, personas, marketing documentation, available process data and
metrics, new and existing systems behavior, applicable business rules, and
user needs (through interviews, feedback tools, direct observation, focus
group studies, or usability studies).
Interact with IT entities to understand software limitations and
implementation challenges to make sure that the UI design not only is
adequate for the business needs but also technically feasible; it must be
implementable according to the available technology and given timeline.
UI Design documentation to be developed includes:
Achievable milestones to accommodate changes for all stakeholders.
Wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to
communicate interaction and design ideas.
Research and evaluate user feedback and benchmark with other industries.

Implementation Support:
Guide and support cross functional teams during the implementation of
company initiatives. Cross functional teams include: IT, SQA, PMO, and
business or product owners
Review proposed design and negotiate solutions based on revision's feedback
/ scope change ideas.
Update design documentation as needed based on technical discoveries during
implementation.
Accessibility, Trends and Style guides:
The UI Designer may be responsible for leading the research on new trends
and assure that accessibility guidelines and style guides are correctly
implemented in the design. The UI Designer will:
Analyze and implement recommendation on accessibility requirements.
Verify the correct use of the company's style guides.
Maintain up-to-date information on all trends in the industry related to UI
design and best practices.
Maintain relationships with other departments to keep user experience
consistency across all areas.
User training and Post Implementation:
User training manuals:
The UI Designer will:
Provide training to UX Designers/Training Development Documentation teams
on best practices and principles on Design.
Train / share knowledge with other departments as needed.
Post Implementation:
The UI Designer will also be responsible for:
Post implementation research and problem solving arising from production
issues derived from the release.
Update of production system flows based on changes / systems released.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
