Job Title: QA Tester with Java and Oracle
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 6+ Months
LOCALS Preferred - Need only GC/Citizens/EAD's or OPT's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ideal candidate has experience with testing in the distributed environment:
2-4 years experience on large test efforts as a Lead or Sr. Tester
Test planning, organizing, test design, and test execution
Development and execution of Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Schedule
Supporting test lead by identifying risks and to develop mitigation strategies
Defect management tools and processes.
Practical knowledge and experience in all phases of software QA.
Testing at different levels (unit, functional, integration, end to end, regression, system, load and performance testing)
Facilitation of User Acceptance Testing
Defining data requirements for test efforts
Data gathering for test efforts.
Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats
Participate in reviews of system architecture, and design documents
Required Technologies:
Java programming language
Oracle Database knowledge
A Tester will be able to do the following:
Manage defects
Create a test grid from requirements
Build good positive and negative test cases
Construct simple queries (i.e. PL/SQL)
Design and create a test strategy, plan, etc.
