QA Engineer
Location: Portland, OR

OVERVIEW:
Participates in analysis, planning and performance of quality engineering activities in an agile SCRUM environment to assure the quality of products prior to release. Perform QA activities for our Call Intelligence application. This engineer will work as part of a SCRUM team to create and execute test cases. Configure the test environments, which includes a series of windows 2003 and MSSQL servers implemented in VMware and various windows desktops
REQUIRED:
7 years of QA Software
Expert Knowledge of Windows servers and desktops, MSSQL and Networking
Advance knowledge of software testing techniques and process/project mgmt
PREFERRED:
Bachelors degree
Experience with SCRUM development environment
Experience with VS Team Foundation Server
Experience with HP quality center
Experience with SharePoint
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and estimate QA activities associated with a development Sprint.
Perform activities related to configuring test environments, including staging servers and installing application to be tested.
Writes and executes test cases to validate Sprint deliverables meet quality objectives.
Develops and carries out methods and procedures for automated and manual product testing.
Identifies, analyzes and reports product defects and assists with resolution.
Provides Quality Engineering support to multiple teams within Systems and/or applications groups including external clients, manufacturers and third party vendors as necessary.
Evaluates product specifications for testability.
Serves as a technical expert for product qualification and development processes.
Performs other related duties as assigned
