Need Java Architect  

Location:           Columbus, OH 

Duration:           six months

Start Date:        ASAP

 

Skills Required:

• 8+ years experience in software development and writing code.
• 5+ years of experience with implementing mid to large-scale Java applications in Java/JEE with WebSphere Application Server.
• Proficiency of web application development, familiar with JSF, Websphere Portal, JSP/Servlet, EJB, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JAAS.
• 3+ years of experience in  SQL, PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with Websphere Portal Server is a big plus.
• Proficiency of Design Patterns, software design(OOA/OOD)  and development methodologies and Industry best practices..
• Experience on multiple full release project life cycles.
• Advanced understanding of modern Software Configuration Management).
• Knowledge of testing tools and unit test and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies.
• Able to define quality and security standards.
• Advanced understanding of build, release and configuration methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong client and vendor management skills.
• General project management/team leader skills.
