Job Title: Principal Java Engineer (multitenant architecture)
Location: Waltham, MA
8-12 years experience ( must be strong)
ü Experience working on Enterprise SaaS applications
ü Experience developing software components in a distributed web-based environment (including cloud based software-as-a-service configurations) and mobile technologies
ü Experience in implementing multitenant architecture is a must
ü Strong understanding of how the multitenant environment/architecture works, its risks and mitigation methods
ü Strong experience with Java, J2EE including Core Java skills, Hibernate, Velocity and Persistence
ü Specific experience with in any or all of the following in a multitenant situation would be plus:
ü Running Quartz jobs
ü Caching issues
ü Connection pooling
ü Performance and fine tuning SQL
ü Experience with HQL, Criterion API etc. in Hibernate would be a plus
ü Experience with DB Sharding is required
ü Working knowledge of core libraries, design patterns, Struts, JSP, EJB, XSLT, XML, Spring, GWT, Servlets
ü Good knowledge of multi-threading concepts, risk and mitigation approach
ü Good knowledge of Test-Driven-Development using JUnit framework
ü Experience with multi-tier service oriented architecture, including knowledge of Oracle 10, Tomcat, and web services
ü Strong understanding and knowledge of data structures, relational database, SQL and query optimization and data normalization
ü Front end technologies including JSTL, JavaScript, Style Sheets, HTML, DHTML, JSON and Ajax.
ü Strong experience with data integration from large ERP software such as PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP
Nice to Have:
ü Domain knowledge of Talent Management software (Recruiting, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Compensation, etc
