Job Description
Must be an exceptionally talented person with 7+ years experience to fill a challenging Senior Web Developer position. You must be an expert in using the dynamic programming tools & languages that fuel the Web as you'll be working with our talented team to create user-centered interactive marketing solutions for nationally & internationally recognized brands. Your specific role is to make it work, which means developing Web applications & testing them on various browsers, enhancing & modifying them as necessary to ensure the best experience for the user. As a web developer, you will also architect websites, design data-driven applications, & find efficient client-server solutions. You must have an in-depth understanding of the software development life-cycle & be able to communicate project status, issues, & resolutions.
Qualifications
Understand database architecture & design (Microsoft SQL Server)
Understand the architecture of clients, servers, & Internet systems
Write functional & design specifications for web applications
Create & implement websites
Create & monitor web applications for clients & servers
Design & deliver web services
Code, test, & support database-driven web applications
Be proficient in HTML, XML, C#, WebForms + MVC/Razor, SQL Server + T/SQL
Understand object-oriented programming
Be proficient in using Microsoft ADO.NET for database access
Understand security aspects, such as forms authentication & membership & roles
Have strong working knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS)
Ability to configure & deploy web applications
Experience with troubleshooting & debugging of Web applications
Experience with ASP.NET AJAX & client-side scripting
Experience with targeting mobile devices
Solid understanding of the ASP.NET applications event model
Experience with XML data access in ADO.NET 3.5 applications
Experience with data synchronization in ADO.NET 3.5 applications
Understand Language Integrated Query
Experience with Data access implementation by using LINQ
Experience with JavaScript & jQuery
