Oracle System DBA
Minimum 6 years Oracle DBA experience in a large scale Production environment with the following responsibilities:
• Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and tune databases on UNIX OS (HPUX/LINUX Preferred)
• Expertise Oracle 11g Database Backup & Recovery (RMAN)
• Monitor production and development databases and coordinate outages to perform maintenance in order to prevent unplanned downtime.

Minimum of 2 years of Oracle RAC experience on 11g (preferably R2
Minimum of 2 years of Oracle ASM experience on 11g (preferably R2
Design system maintenance activities such as archiving, storage utilization, and backups.
Minimum of 2 years of Experience with OEM (GRID Control)
Experience with Data Guard or Advance Data Guard
Demonstrated knowledge of database internals and structures
Minimum of 3 years of Experience with database performance troubleshooting and tuning.
Pro-active and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Preferably 2008) minimum of 1 year
Minimum of 6 years of Unix Shell scripting and SQL
Experience in Data Pump, Advance Compression, Partitioning, ETL and Data Warehousing is a plus.
Interface with other central organizations to improve and implement process, procedures and automation
Work as part of a team to provide 24x7 support and participate in on-call rotation
Interface with Oracle technical support
Establish standards and best practices for SQL
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
