Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Duration: Long-term contract
Interview mode: Over the phone
Visa Type: USC/GC/EAD's/H1B (USC/GC are highly preferable)
Note: Need consultants only local to CA
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring and supporting the availability of a central application.
Responsibilities include: learning the entire systems and dependencies between each system component, communication to upstream and downstream participates to troubleshooting any issues found throughout.
Req Skills include:
Must have over 8 yrs exp in IT/JAVA
Good problem solving skills/ attention to detail.
Good com. skills/an open style to provide transparency to management.
Exp in FS, Cap Markets, and/or dev of Securities Trade Processing systems a plus.
Exp with any of following techs: Java/J2EE, esp server-side (req.), Spring Framework (highly desirable), JPA, Hibernate (highly desirable), PL/SQL, Oracle e. Dist caching/Gemfire, JMS/MOM/TIBCO, Web Services/SOAP, XML/XSD unix shell, tomcat server.
Open source frameworks and tools that we are currently using:
Jersey Spring for REST API
AngularJS for client side UI
Hibernate, Oracle for DB connectivity
Maven for Build, Unit test CaspersJS for headless browser testing
Jenkins for Test Reporting Tomcat+SSWS or deployment
