Title: Java Developer

Location: Peoria, IL

Length: 1 Year+

 

SUMMARY:

 

Develop and design web applications and web sites. Responsible to align Customer EA standards for defined web applications scanned with security scanning tools. A number of web application vulnerabilities were found and need to be addressed for each application. Required to analyze/remediate web vulnerabilities. Work with application development teams to direct application updates. Review problems uncovered by security scans and provide resolution.

 

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

 

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time. Required: Java 1.6 and above, Secure knowledge & development knowledge, Proficiency in web vulnerabilities, primarily Cross Site Scripting and SQL Injection, STRUTS, JavaScript, HTML, XML.

 

DESIRED: Extreme Tables, TUF Understanding, Application vulnerability exploitation or application penetration testing knowledge, IMS ITOC, Hibernate.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required. Five to seven years previous IT experience required.

 

TRAVEL:  0-25%
