Urgent REQ: Embedded Engineer -- Mossville/Peoria, IL

Need: Embedded Engineer

Location: Mossville/Peoria, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Scope of Work:

v  Responsibilities include development of new control and application features for onhighway

v  heavy duty and petroleum transmissions as

v  well as software maintenance and the resolution of software defects. Regression testing of code is also a critical ability.

v  Required Qualifications:

v  4 yr Engineering degree (CEE, EE, ME)

v  10 Years experience with embedded software in C language and control systems development for Transmission/Engine/Hydraulic/Vehicles

v  Experience with and administration of Versioning tools (ClearCase or GIT)

v  Experience and understanding of embedded software development processes including developing, testing, production, and product support

v  Desired Qualifications:

v  Knowledge of implementing CAN/1939 data link parameters

v  Knowledge of embedded data link tools including CANape, and CANalyzer

v  Experience with data files and scripts to modify, develop, and test software

v  Experience with ARM or PPC Motorola 32 bit processors

v  Experience with Wind River or Diab C Compilers

v  Knowledge of Simulink and Matlab

v  Experience with Hardware Application Layer and FPGA software

v  Commercial Drivers License (CDL) for Class 8 truck
