Technical Functions

•RHEL 6.4+ / Virtualization (VMware 5.0+) / Active Directory integration

•Clustering / High Availability

•Shell scripting

•Network and SAN/NAS Storage Basics

•Failure recovery / disaster recovery

 

Qualifications/Certifications

•Bachelor's degree in an IT or related field, or equivalent professional experience – Required

•Minimum of 5 years administering complex Linux environments – Required

•Red Hat certification (RHCSA / RHCE) – Preferred

•Experience working in a virtualized (VMware) environment – Preferred

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook) – Preferred

•Strong customer service orientation

•Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

•Proven ability to absorb, master and leverage emerging technologies

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Proficiency working on large IT project teams as a contributing member

•Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, and properly prioritize and execute tasks
