Must have Cloudera Admin experience

Job Title:    HADOOP/CLOUDERA ADMIN Consultant

Location:    SFO, CA 

Duration:    6-12 Months 

 

Required Experience

Must have experience in configuring, administration of Cloudera and its Eco System.

Hadoop cluster security using sentry, gazzang etc.

Knowledge of Sqoop, Hive, Pig etc.

Good Experience in HDFS support and maintenance & Adding/Removing a Node, work load balancing

User management using Kerberos authentication

Assess infra needs to scale up to more data nodes (as needed)

Deployments across environments

Knowledge in tuning map reduce jobs / Maintaining backups for name node/ Setup of standby name node

Involve in platform (CDH) upgrades

Experience in scheduling using oozie

Experience in  Managing nodes on Hadoop cluster & Monitor Hadoop cluster job performance and capacity planning

Provide best practices advice to customers and team members.

Specify solutions and articulate value to customers.
