Position Title : Big Data Platform support specialist

Locations: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: Long Term Contract


Requirement Overview :

  • 7+ years of experience with Bigdata
  • Experience within HealthCare/Pharmaceutical industry

Job Responsibilities :

  • Hand on experience in Informatica 8 and Above.
  • Strong background on OS and DBMS admin.
  • Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem installation, configuration, and provisioning.
  • Experience on monitoring, performance turning, SLA, scaling, security, etc. in Big Data systems.
  • Competent on query tuning, UDF, data model, data import/export, scripting, job scheduling.
  • Capability of developing solutions in HQL, Pig, HBase, MR, Sqoop, Flume, Oozie, Spark.
  • Knowledge of data engineering, SDLC, multi-threading and concurrency.
  • Maintaining security and data privacy.
  • Ability of troubleshooting of production issues and app support.
