Job Title – Splunk Developer
Location – San Jose, CA
Duration – 6-12 Months
Rate - DOE
Job Description –
The candidate will be responsible for source data/log analysis and design, development, integration and management of Splunk dashboard in addition to a variety of other tasks.
Responsibilities:
· Experience on Data collection from various systems/servers
· System log / source data analysis
· Technical Design of index, search heads, procedures, alerts and dashboards
· Knowledge of standardized Splunk agent deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX
· Knowledge of troubleshooting Splunk agent & receivers problems and issues
· Mentor and train Splunk users and administrators where required
· Monitor the agent and server infrastructure for optimization
· Design core Systems performance and troubleshooting logs
· Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications:-
· Minimum 5~6 years of experience using Splunk, preferably 6.2.4 version
· Strong Understanding of cloud-computing concepts
· Basic understanding of AIX, Solaris, Linux
· Good verbal and written communication is a must (Client Facing Role)
