Responsibilities: Responsible for Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, and jobs required to extract, transform, clean, validate, and move data and metadata for loading into a data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with business intelligence analysts to identify and understand source data systems
* Map source system data to data warehouse models
* Develop and tune SQL used to prototype and populate data structures
* Develop and test extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) workflows
* Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes
* Manage code through source code management process / tools
* Guide deployments through release process / tools
* Adapt Informatica ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and requirements
* Completes mapping and transformation programs using Informatica
* Schedules extraction and load processes
* Documentation and maintenance of ETL metadata
* Code deliverables in adherence to internal standards and non-functional requirements
Qualifications: Required Skills/Experience:
* Recent and Demonstrated skills in Informatica PowerCenter development
* Understanding of source and target data structures, replication technologies, and ETL.
* Experience with Oracle databases or other similar enterprise data warehouse platforms
* Experience with CVS or other similar source code management tools
* Experience with Golden Gate or other similar replication tools
* Experience with other similar enterprise data management tool suites
* Knowledge of Cognos or other similar enterprise business intelligence tools
* Knowledge of slowly changing (Type 2) Dimensions
* Knowledge of Agile Scrum and Jira or other similar development methodologies and tools
* Strong problem-solving and metadata skills
