Job Title: MQ Series
Location: TX
Duration: 12 Months
Job description:
· 3+ years IBM MQ Administration experiences including the MQ JMS and JNDI functions
· 3+ Years Unix scripting experience
· trouble-shooting, systems analysis, analysis of connection issues, thread dumps, heap dumps, logs, and core files
Required skills
· IBM MQ 7.1 Administration including user management, creation, configuration, and removal of MQ objects
· Administration of MQ 7.1 JNDI
· Experience configuring and supporting MQ in an environment subject to audit requirements including PCI, SOX, PII, and ASDI
· Excellent working knowledge in Linux, including the use of command line system utilities for troubleshooting and analysis
· Unix Scripting including sch, ksh, bash. Perl, Python, and/or Ant are greatly desired
· Experience integrating Java applications to MQ in a UNIX / Linux Environment
· Excellent communication skills
· Solid understanding of the SDLC and change control process
Desired Skills
· Experience using 3rd party tools to support MQ including SIOS LifeKeeper, Avada IR360 and Capitalware MQAUSX, MQME, and MQAudit
· Experience with IBM MQ FTE or IBM MFT
Experience in building, deploying, and integrating Java-based web applications in a UNIX Environment
