Title: Front End Developer with Strong JAVAScript, CSS, HTML Exp

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6+ Months with Extension

 

All candidates must be submitted with work samples with their resume. Examples of acceptable formats:

o Code repositories (github, bitbucket, etc.)

o Links to live projects they have worked on.

o Portfolio sites

 

Top 3 MUST HAVE skills/experience:

1) Expert in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

2) Must have experience developing Full Stack JavaScript

3) Must be fluent in Git and Agile development workflows.

Manager mentioned this is not a learn on the job, must have experience with those technologies.

  

Education/Experience

- Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required

- 8-10 years experience required

 

Skills

- Mastery of Front-End technologies:

- Expert level CSS (pre-processors such as LESS, SCSS, and PostCSS are used extensively in projects.)

- Experience with OOCSS, SMACSS, BEM or similar conventions preferred

- Experience with using and customizing frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation in large projects

- HTML

- Experience coding HTML emails preferred

- Expert level JavaScript

- Experience with ECMAScript2015 (ES6) preferred

- Experience working with Node

- Experience building and using workflows based on Grunt, Bower, Yeoman

- Git based version control

- Static site generation (Assemble, Jekyl, etc)

- .NET experience a plus

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)

- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
