we have below 6 + month contract in  Bloomfield, CT .please let me know if you have any one.

Role: Systems Analyst (ETL, Star Schemas, OLAP, Dimensional modeling, MS OLAP, Oracle, Data Warehousing)

Skills: ETL, Star Schemas, OLAP, Dimensional modeling, MS OLAP, Oracle, Data Warehousing, (Healthcare- Plans & Providers)

Location: Bloomfield, CT

Duration: 6 months

Job Roles/Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and define functional solutions to address complex business needs.  Projects are often technically difficult, requiring innovative and creative solutions and frequently involve multiple platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools). 

• Develop familiarity with application data and data stores across the HealthCare business and develop expertise in logical data mapping to be applied on Integration projects 

• Understand not only the project technical architecture and accountable for providing linkage to overall Business and IT Strategic objectives. Help to make decisions about the feasibility of various options that are in alignment with strategic goals and application & integration solutions capabilities and purpose

• Highly accountable for the effectiveness, quality and timeliness of project design decisions and how well they meet the business requirements with a focus on maintainability and production support

• Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle.  Provides linkage and continuity to business units, development, operations and technical support groups in the testing and implementation of recommendations. 

• Through project work and in general, contribute re-usable systems documentation to overall application library 

• Highly accountable for ensuring QA organization is adequately prepared to test new systems requirements

• Highly accountable for ensuring that Production Support organization is adequately prepared to support the new systems requirements and/or processes.

• Continuously improve business knowledge and analysis skills and competencies 

Must Have Skills: 

'• Experience in supporting the design and specification of data presentation and knowledge of reporting, analytics, and trending. 

• Experience in integrating data from multiple source systems is a plus.

• Requires knowledge and experience in data warehousing (ETL, Star Schemas, OLAP, Dimensional modeling etc.); knowledge and understanding of different data warehousing methodologies preferably Kimball.

• Oracle, or other relational, database experience/knowledge as well as SQL required.

• Business/systems analyst experience required. Demonstrated experience working with users to identify information systems and reporting needs. 

• Experience identifying potential solutions, designing, developing, documenting, testing, and maintaining databases/applications required.
