Job Title - QA

Location – Downtown Boston,MA

Duration – 3+ Months 

Client will require In-Person interview after Phone Screen.

 

Key Skills: Candidates must have previous experience testing in a Java environment. SaaS and previous experience working on and testing commercial products.

 

Your Charge:

• Design test plans and test cases for our world-class, next generation SaaS offering

• Plan and implement automated test cases using our keyword and data-driven automated test framework

• Execute both manual and automation tests

• Create automated test cases from keyword driven framework.

• Participate in test case reviews

• Report bugs in a clear and concise manner into our bug tracking system.

• Work as member of scrum team verifying user story acceptance criteria

• Develop strong expertise in one or more modules of the product

• Effectively communicate status, metrics, and issues on a regular basis

 

Your Experience and Know-How:

 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering high-volume, scalable commercial web applications

• Strong problem solving capability

• Solid experience in test case development

• Ability to learn quickly and stay current with new technologies

• Working knowledge of Linux/Solaris environments, including installing and maintaining web applications

• Demonstrated ability to script procedures in a scripting language (shell, JavaScript, python, groovy)

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

• Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural engineering team

• Self-motivated, passionate about software, and driven to achieve committed milestones

• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with a broad scope of responsibilities

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
