The Front-End Software Developer will participate in software engineering activities related to web application development and maintenance. This includes reviewing system design specs, contributing to a technical design document (TSD), coding, unit testing, development-led integration testing, and defect resolution throughout testing phases. 

Primary Responsibilities
• Perform software development using Java technologies
• Work on discretionary and maintenance projects
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation
• Participate in the definition of functional and non-functional system requirements
• Follow quality-driven processes including collaborative code design review, writing technical documentation, and writing and executing unit testing
• Responsible for meeting on-time and on-budget project goals
Education & Experience
• 4+ years software development
• Recent experience in web application development (client- and server-side)
• Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent)
• Financial service experience a plus

Skills and Knowledge 
• Java
• JSP
• JavaScript
• HTML
• CSS
• XML
• Angular.js
• Web services integration experience a must – such as SOAP and RESTful
• Spring MVC Framework
• JSON
• JQuery
• Experience with Hadoop and/or Hive (a plus)
• iBatis (a plus)
• GIT/Stash (a plus)
• SlickGrid (a plus)
