Senior Tableau Developer

Location: Golden Valley, MN, US

 
Responsibilities:

·         Develop, Design and Support Interactive Tableau dashboards.

·         Translate business requirements into efficient visualizations and reporting.

·         Design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations

·         Support implemented BI solutions by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, and communicating functional and technical issues.

·         Participate in, and develop design reviews, code reviews and QA processes.

 

Requirements:

·         7+ years of experience overall within design and development of BI reporting and analytics 

·         4+ years of experience with SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and/or SSAS

·         4+ years of experience developing Tableau visualizations

·         4+ years of experience writing & performance tuning SQL and with sourcing data from large, complex databases

·         Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, or other technology related discipline, or equivalent work experience, required.

·         Experience using Tableau desktop and Tableau Server

·         Experience working with Tableau 8.x and 9.x.

·         Familiarity with Tableau's JavaScript API.
