Job Title: Software Quality Analyst

Location: MI

Duration: 6+ Months

Visa: GC and Citizen only

 

There is a Face to Face followed by Telephonic.

 

 

Position Summary: Individuals in the senior level Software Tester role are responsible for the verification and validation of the product against the requirements specification and performing exploratory testing.  Senior level Software Testers are also responsible for ensuring the quality of the testing artifacts.  In addition, they are expected to provide guidance and mentoring to Intermediate level Software Testers and contribute to the overall strategic vision for testing.  The senior level Software Tester must perform the detailed responsibilities listed below.

 

Essential Functions:

·        Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions.

·        Provide timely updates to the Team Lead and Project Manager on the status of testing activities.

·        Analyze project requirements and risks for test strategy and planning development.

·        Develop and maintain documentation for:

o   Master Test Plans

o   Test Design Specifications

o   Test Procedure Specifications where applicable

o   Test Case catalogs where applicable

o   Test Case Specifications

o   Test Summaries

o   Automated Test Script Traceability

o   Requirements Traceability

·        Execute testing according to the plan.

·        Develop and maintain automated testing scripts.

·        Maintain test coverage at specified levels where applicable.

·        Develop and maintain testing infrastructure (e.g. mocks, test data, configuration) where applicable.

·        Analyze testing related metrics to determine testing efficiency and effectiveness.

·        Document defects found while executing tests according the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

·        Participate in the review of test case specifications.

·        Participate in the review of automated test scripts.

·        Assists end users with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

·        Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

·        Minimum of three years previous software testing experience and two years previous leadership testing experience.

·        In lieu of the specified education and experience requirements, a proven capability to perform the essential functions of the job, as demonstrated by an equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant work experience may be considered.
