· Emphasis is UI and JSF
- No financial is necessary. I think it is a big plus
- Will be working on Back / MIddle Office trading, some regulatory etc. SRSS is not required. Someone with server side experience that can pick up UI is ok too.
Focus on:
- Solid End to End Development
- Solid UI development - knows how to connect to MQ on the front end WebSphere or JBoss Prime Faces or JSF (your home run).
- Understands Java Server side and database.
- Java/J2EE, Hibernate, WebSphere, MQ, JMS (messaging) JBoss, Tomcat
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- The primary focus will be on UI development for their web application using Java Prime Faces technology.
- Design and develop server-side with Java J2EE web container/EJB3
- Complying with the standard release cycle and deployment controls
- Perform all application unit and system testing
- Support users as required
WHAT GETS YOU THE JOB:
- Solid experience of developing large scale enterprise web application with Java/J2EE
- Java Prime Faces or JSF technologies
- Working experience with SVN, Maven, Hudson, Eclipse
- Familiar with Websphere, MQ/JMS
- Familiar with JBoss/Tomcat (or similar) application servers.
- End-to-end development cycle knowledge
- Planning and prioritization skills
- MUST HAVE Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure clarity of communication to users and Technology colleagues
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the following:
- Experience of working in an investment banking technology environment
- Experience in integration into portals and/or SharePoint
