Role: Data Engineer,
Location: SC - Fort Mill
Duration: 1 Yr
This position expects the candidate to have strong enterprise data background specifically Hadoop platform Essential Functions: · Design and Implement Big Data platform Design and Implement open source database like Document DB, Graph Db, etc. · Developing scripts using Python is a plus · UNIX scripts to manage file processing · Use of SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Views, functions and dynamic queries etc.… Other Job Duties: • Document the process Qualifications: · BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience. · 7-10 years' experience in building data platform · Strong SQL development skills - Oracle, SQL Server and other enterprise databases · Experience in No-SQL database or concept is a plus · Experience in BI Reporting is a plus · Experience in Informatica or Data Stage or SSIS or related ETL technologies is a plus · Strong domain knowledge – Financial and Investment products is a plus Additional Requirements: · strong communication skills · ability to multi-task · Strong team player
