Title: Embedded Software Testing Engineer for IoT Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6+ Months

 

-              Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution

-              5+ years of Hardware/Software test experience

-              Preferred 3+ Python scripting experience

-              Working knowledge of Web applications, Mobile applications, and Embedded Firmware

-              Hands-on experience with Robot Test Automation Framework

-              Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

 

Role Description:

 

This position enables you to work on cutting edge IoT solution for Lighting applications. As Software Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for devising and executing test strategy and analyzing results in a systematic manner with an emphasis on test automation. This position involves thorough understanding of testing methodologies, tools, process and performance metrics used to assess the software and system operation, reliability and usability of integrated hardware and software applications such as Mobile Application, Cloud Application, and Embedded Firmware.

Duties

 

-              Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents

-              Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases

-              Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate test activities

-              Develop automated tests using Robot Test Automation Framework

-              Execute Functional and non-Functional tests & Identify, record and track defects
