Job Description:
 
Data quality improvement initiatives to improve trading strategies and help front office with booking, processing and end-of-day reporting.
migration of back-offices from legacy systems to newer framework, while maintaining existing features of the reports on business-as-usual mode
data reporting model build for any new securities or listed products traded by the business
build new report proof of concept prototypes with newer data scope or features by querying the data warehouse, in line with business expectations and needs
develop automated daily and monthly data reporting controls to support live production processes, that can pro-actively spot and correct data quality reporting gaps and improve process inefficiencies
generate ad-hoc data extracts on business user requests, by querying the data-warehouse, to calculate and apply critical manual adjustments for global reporting.
any new data analysis projects that add value by enhancing data reporting models and adding newer features that allow business teams to study and diversify risks
Planning and delivery of product features and roadmaps to meet new critical regulatory board recommendation deadlines, while aligning delivery of the business-as-usual product backlog.
Research and analyze existing business systems and data flows to recommend feasible technical data reporting solutions 
Facilitate daily scrums and refine sprint backlog with Product Owners and stakeholders to align the business vision with the technical build and testing efforts
Onboarding and provide knowledge transfer for new resources joining the team to work
Assess impacts of proposed changes on the existing technical framework and prepare the time-effort cost estimates to present for budget approvals
Study and provide comprehensive reporting data solutions to lead both new enhancements and ongoing maintenance work simultaneously, in the Dev-Ops model
Prepare and maintain documentation accurately depicting standing operating procedures, application interfaces, data flow, and general technology of business aligned systems. 
Document and present business systems requirements and proposed solutions through detailed impact assessments, Process flow maps, Traceability matrix and As-Is/Future State diagrams.
Constantly engage globally located business units, technology, testing and support teams (Europe, Americas, Asia) to meet project roadmap/deliverables
Perform quality assurance (QA) activities such as construction of use cases, test cases, failure testing, performance testing, statistical control, execution of testing, and documentation of test results. 
Manage and maintain business requirement specifications through versioning and planning reporting changes to accommodate financial regulatory board changes globally (Europe, Asia, Americas) 
Map and present data mapping to illustrate past, present and future data flows and processing models
Resolve internal compliance and audit requests related to production incidents management, data reporting change and application change management and
Bridge crucial communication gaps between globally placed teams (Europe, Asia, Americas), by being proactive and establishing regular and strong working relationships, while delivering stable and successful project solutions.
Coordinate and securing change control board approvals for the successful rollout of the developments by presenting the technical rollout and rollback plans
Oversee technical delivery of migration and decommissioning projects between globally located client teams within different time-zones and regulatory board requirements.
Oracle Pl/Sql for data storage, querying, maintenance and transformation for reporting
SAP Business Objects and MS Access for data extraction and reporting
Unix and FTR for file transfers and automated deliveries.
Microsoft office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and Outlook for project scheduling, analysis, documentation and data extractions
Adobe PDF for data analysis and presentations.
One automation UC4 API engine for report scheduling and automation
JIRA dashboards for creating, tracking and managing new and existing data reporting tasks, issues and epics
