SQL BI Reporting Lead$58/HRClient: IBM / LL BEAN INCRemoteLead BI/DW development, mentor junior resources and track technical deliverables to ensure project successConduct and collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the vision and purpose of the development and participate in meetings to define/support deliverables for project success.Create accurate time estimates for development tasks related to BI system.Work with BI team members to establish best patterns, practices, and standards as new technology arises.Collaborate with other technology departments to define development and production infrastructure needs and best practices.Follow the enterprise SDLC standards and proceduresAdhere to BI development standards for end to end application development.Work on multiple concurrent projects and participate in the entire software development lifecycle.Actively adapt to changing technology needs and frameworks to best serve the technical and business needs of the organization.Create technical documentation and code comments based on industry standards.Define and develop software unit tests and test plans based on business requirements.Report to the BI Manager and provide regular input on all projects, including status and updates on a weekly basis.Evaluate, interpret and understand Functional Specifications for highly complex custom developmentDesign comprehensive BI solutions, translating complex requirements into an optimal BI designConstruct Technical Specification for a solution design which will meet or exceed the functional requirements as described in the Functional SpecificationDevelop, test, implement, and optimize scheduling for ETL jobs as described in the Technical SpecificationDocument and conduct unit and system testing as it pertains to new BI/BW development and maintenanceProvide input and recommendations for technical issues and process improvementsDesign and implement security solutions within the BI/BW environmentReview and understand reporting requirements to model the BI/DW solutionCreate BW extracts and transformations for the new reporting targets
