Job Description:
 
Service Management
Maintain high performing service support functions for IT Service Desk, IT Field Services (Desktop Support), VTC and VIP Support
Ensures the ITSM platform addresses the needs of all functional teams and end users
Owner of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required
Champion’s service and support requirements in concert with IT Operations, for new projects and service offerings
Interfaces with all IT departments to ensure a strong understanding of projects and services is understood and appropriate staffing functions identified, and project priority established to deliver impacting service area and ensuring service impact is minimized and agreed upon
Accountable for the quality of Service and performance; ensuring future demand from growth and projects is understood and factored into capacity and strategic plans for all associated systems
Drives internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes
Technical
Leads the Service Desk and Field Services teams to continually improve the end user computing environment and first call resolution
Manages the desktop computing environment to ensure that laptops, PC’s and other access devices are built and maintained to high standards of performance and security
Works with the appropriate IT Operations teams and BUs to evolve technology standards in alignment with the IT strategic and execution plans
Performance & Quality
Establish and socialize Service Level Objectives with the business and other IT departments
Socialize service impacts with the business
Meets with business unit program manager on a consistent basis
Makes recommendations for Service Improvement Plans and ensure actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner
Works with internal teams to ensure actions are taken and completed to protect and improve services
Provide regular and accurate management reporting on IT Service performance
An ambassador for IT, working across the business to provide effective communication on IT matters and build relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments
