OAS Infrastructure Support

Location: Phoenix, AZ

4 month contract

Demonstrated in-depth web systems and architecture expertise
• Strong administration skills in Oracle Application Server 10g version 10.1.2.x (or previous versions). Should be able to install, configure and support on both UNIX and Windows platforms.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in implementing Oracle Forms under OAS10g version 10.1.2.x. (or prior)
• Strong Web administration skills in Apache (1.3 or higher) and Tomcat 5.02 (or higher).
• Experience in supporting SSL and multiple web sites on a single server or in a web-farm environment.
• UNIX admin experience is required to perform application installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience in managing, optimizing, and diagnosing the performance of OAS Servers and applications
• Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills
• At least three years experience as a Lead Oracle Application Server administrator
• Minimum 6 years of IS experience and 3 years experience as a Lead Oracle Application Server administrator is required.
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate with technical, non-technical, and senior management audiences
• Proven trouble-shooting, problem-solving and project management skills
• Candidate should be self-motivated, results-oriented and detail oriented Behavior Characteristics:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to create and follow procedures, posses the ability to work unsupervised. Must have attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude. Excellent at multi-tasking and working well under pressure

 

OAS 10G or higher under AIX             5 years exp required

Oracle Forms under OAS10g              3 years exp required

Web administration skills in Apache and Tomcat   3 yrs desired

Web Farm experience                                3 yrs desired

• Knowledge of Microsoft IIS 6.0 web support   2 yrs desired

WebLogic experience               1 yr required

 

 

 

Must Have Excellent Communication Skills
