REQUIRED SKILLS:

GOOD Cobol Programming skills

Analysis and Design Skills

GOOD DB2 or Oracle 10g Database experience

Good SQL writing skills

Knowledge of DB2 or PL/SQL Store Procedures

Good Communication skills

 

COBOL Programmer Analyst / Developer (5+yrs). DB2 or Oracle database knowledge.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Performing analysis on existing COBOL embedded SQL programs and should be fairly self-sufficient

•Collecting and/or verifying user requirements

•Writing detail design documents

•Coding and Unit testing

Candidates must be able to hit the ground running and learn quickly.

 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

ACUCOBOL-GT Batch programming using ACUCOBOL with Pro*COBOL Compiler

Dollar Universe Scheduling

TOAD

Knowledge of UNIX Commands and Scripting
