This is a back fill position for a long term project

Sr. Application Developer 

Seeking a highly motivated individual for our Sr. DBA and developer.
Perform product design and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis. Work independently with little direct supervision in the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of systems of moderate size/complexity.
Provide detailed analysis of problems and recommends solutions.
Apply innovation and creativity to development process and problem-solving.
Participate in the development of detailed design documents for major applications.
Provide adequate and proactive support for various applications.

Required Skills: Experience and Knowledge:
Must have at least 6-8 years experience as a database developer and possess expert level technical skills in Stored Procedure and SQL programming, creation and optimization, as well as script writing, batch processing, and report generation.
Must have at least 6-8 years experience working closely with Database Administrators in the design, implementation, tuning and maintenance of highly available (HA) and high volume databases.
Experience with multi terabyte databases and multi data-center replication is mandatory.
Experience with clustered implementations is mandatory.
Microsoft SQLServer 2005 and SQL 2K are mandatory.
Expert understanding of the SQL programming language and MS SQLServer development and administrative tools is mandatory.
Expertise with design and development of SSIS packages are required.
Expertise in Oracle databases are mandatory.
Working knowledge of Informatica is a plus.
Scripting language skills, such as PERL, is strongly desired.
Experience in financial services industry is mandatory
Experience supporting critical client facing products is mandatory
Understanding of brokerage applications, particularly the Institutional space is strongly preferred.
