Requirement of Quantitative Programmer/Analyst in Chicago, IL for 3-6 Months

Tile: Quantitative Programmer/Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL          
Duration: 3 – 6 months

Description:
• We are a Chicago-based investment firm offering investment banking, asset
management, equity research, institutional and private brokerage, and
private capital to individual, institutional, and issuing clients.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the quantitative analyst team on all aspects of
programming/coding related to model-building and the quantitative analysis
process.  
• Create quantitative models within the ClariFI system
• Develop scripts within ClariFI to generate quantitative results based on
decision rules

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience as a programmer/coder working with a quantitative
analysis team in the Investment Management Industry
• Expert knowledge of ClariFI's ModelStation and related modules is
required.
• Possesses programming skills in Pascal or similar language
• Minimum of three years of programming/analytical experience, five years
preferred
• Bachelors degree with excellent academic achievement
• Positive attitude 
• Extreme attention to detail
• Works in a team environment to accomplish objectives
• Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills 
• Additional Desirable Skills

The following skills are not required, but are an added plus when
considering candidates
• Knowledge of FactSet
• Knowledge of SAS, MATLAB, R, SQL, or, Visual Basic
