Project Description:

(What project will the contractor be working on?)

Perform Pre Production Environment Builds, end to end troubleshooting, kit installs, work request, and support through Red Hat as single point of contact for EEM supported Test Teams and EEM customers.

 

BASE = BMG, A = Analytics (Siebel OLAP reporting module), S = SFA (Sales Force Automation-Siebel Module) and E = ECPM(Enterprise Contract Profile Mgmt Siebel Module) is the system of record for enterprise contracts and profiles. The system provides automation enabled throughout the business process from Prospect, Signing, and Renewal. Also includes Sales Force Automation Functionality (Opportunities, Contacts, Forecasting).

 

Job Description:

The BASE technical resource is responsible for contributing to a team that will fulfill environment architect and requests, provide end to end test support, and assist with required production deployment assistance. Candidate will work with enterprise wide applications and personnel as well as other team members in a challenging, fast paced atmosphere to establish and maintain high availability of pre production environments. A successful candidate will be a member of a team responsible for team deliverables and meeting specified milestones. Candidate will be required to build environments to specifications, set up and modify configurations, Application Server administration, install kits, perform advanced troubleshooting and provide root cause analysis, Monitor Server processes, Server component availability, and write shell scripts and SQL queries. A successful candidate will also be able to follow, maintain, document, and help establish standard processes to ensure repeatability. This job requires the ability to work as needed to meet software release deadlines. Five or more years experience with BASE/Billing systems /BizComp. Certification a plus Applications: Advanced level experience on Architecture, Server build, Kit install, Work Request and Troubleshoot on BASE, Discount Engine, MDU, BizComp and Billing System applications. Demonstrated ability to act as the single point of contact in application environment support for all stakeholders Demonstrated ability to perform problem solving, troubleshooting, and identifying root cause Demonstrated ability and commitment to work both as an individual and as a member of a team to support team mates and customers Strong analytical and thinking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong technical writing skills
