JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Title: JAVA DEVELOPER

 

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

 

 

Interview process: Telephonic + in-person interview (if required)

 

 

Candidate will perform system-level analysis, new development, design, programming and maintenance programming. Individual must have a proven track record of producing quality deliverables in a timely manner and be able to work in a team environment with minimal direction or supervision.

Requirements
-Banking; item\check processing operational and\or technical experience
-4+ years experience implementing critical application components in a team environment
-4+ years Java Experience
-Experience in Object Oriented Programming/Development
-Formal software development life-cycle experience
-Knowledge and experience using TFS preferred
-Degree in computer science
-Strong knowledge of Java development and deployment, including Java SE and Java EE environments.
-Familiarity with Java debugging and research tools (JMX, JConsole, VisualVm)
-Familiarity with enterprise hardware infrastructure including SAN technologies (fiber channe l, iSCSI), RAID technologies (raid levels, hard drive technology), etc
-Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
-Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Windows and related technologies, including tools (Perfmon, Sysinternals) to troubleshoot various resource usage issues
-Strong knowledge of processes, threads, virtual memory, file systems, and networking systems
-Strong knowledge with SQL Server and Oracle database systems, SQL, and basic database performance troubleshooting techniques
