Great contract job opportunity in San Jose, CA for a Design Engineer with Unigraphics.


Responsibilities
Create drawings, layouts and 3-D models using UG NX-4 or above
Extract layout data and use skills in computer aided engineering and analysis to apply engineering theory to system designs and define problem assumptions, boundary conditions, and design requirements
Mentor and lead lower classification Engineers and Designers in design guidance, project documentation, adherence to established drawing and performance standards
Participate in and lead project and design reviews
Responsible for the project design integrity including supporting the project through production launch / This includes all Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) goals at the engineering level

Requirements
3D Cad UG NX4+
Experience leading 8d & dFMEA is Required
ME Degree is Required
5+ years experience w/ automotive interior plastics is Required
Excellent communication skills and a positive team attitude is a must
