Title: Wireless Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Length: 1 Year

This position is responsible for day to day support, maintenance, administration, problem resolution, and documentation of trading floor wireless networks.

Deliverables include:
• Perform day to day support and maintenance on trading floor and staff wireless networks.
• Assist users with wireless client configuration issues
• Monitor, collect and prepare statistical data for analysis on network performance, and produce daily reports.

Experience:
• 3 – 5 years of networking and wireless experience
• Experience with network architecture and protocols
• Customer service skills

Expertise in the following:
• Networking fundamentals and protocols
• Network shaping devices (Packeteer Packetshapers a plus)
• Proficient with packet analysis and troubleshooting
• Meru Wireless and Cisco Wireless Network technology
• RADIUS (Cisco ACS)
• Familiar with Checkpoint firewall technologies
• Proficient with setup and configuration of Windows wireless clients
• Wireless security protocols (I.E. 802.1x, EAP, WPA2)
• Networking fundamentals and protocols
