·         Very good at programming skills

·         Very good knowledge of Performance testing

·         Identify bottlenecks quickly and do the RCA

·         Need to know tuning techniques to improve performance

·         Need to have very good knack of knowing what system is doing and what should be the behavior

·         Should be able to suggest Performance model for a component

·         Do capacity planning based on scale-up /scale out requirements

·         Out of box thinking. Need to have skills to arrive at performance scenarios

·         Should be able to give ideas and participate actively in discussions

·         Ability to understand the system failures quickly and rectify them ASAP

·         Excellent debugging and troubleshooting techniques

 

Additional requirements:

·         Effective communication skills.

·         Discipline in terms of sending weekly status regularly.

·         Should be able to organize tasks very efficiently.

·         Should be very flexible in terms of work hours.
