This is my direct client opening for a Senior Java Developer – New York, NY. This is a 6 Months Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.

 

Job description:

We are looking for Senior Java developers, who will participate in technical design sessions and code reviews, create and evolve code using Test-Driven Development, and interact with other technology teams. The primary technologies used are Java, C##, UDB, JMS, and Hibernate, and the implementation of caching and workflow (jBPM) technologies.

 

Mandatory skills:

• High degree of competency in Object Oriented Design and Analysis

• Expert level knowledge of Java

• Demonstrated history of technical project successfully deployed to production

• Experience in test-driven development

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• 4-6 years of relevant experience

• Java, C#, UDB, JMS, and Hibernate

• Implementation of caching and workflow (jBPM) technologies.

• Financial experience

 

Desirable skills:

• Familiarity with UML and Eclipse
