This is for my direct client opening for a Hyperion Systems and Business Analyst – NJ. This is a 4+ month's contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.
The Hyperion Systems and Business Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration and development of the Hyperion System 11.1.1.3 to meet the business needs. The role works closely with IT teams and vendors to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance system functionality. The SA/BA should add value to the Hyperion software applications and the business through their knowledge of Hyperion Planning and products, and through their constructive teamwork with the business and other IT teams throughout Development. The SA/BA understands dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of Hyperion Planning among forms, business rules, calculation scripts, and variables.
The following skills are required:
Hyperion
• Subject Matter Expert
• Minimum 5 years of Hyperion Planning, with a minimum of 2 years on Version 11.1.1.3
• Strong Systems Analysis experience and the ability to perform configuration of tool
• Strong competency of Hyperion reporting
• Strong understanding of the Tool Administration Capability as well as how to develop calculations scripts and business rules as well as develop data input forms
• Cube build and calc script development
Business Analysis
• Proven Business Analysis Track Record
• Strong understanding and work experience of BA Process and SDLC/IT Lifecycles
• Solid Communications and Requirements Gathering Strategy
• Must be able to effectively communicate with Senior and Executive Level Management within IT and Finance
• Must have solid working experience transforming business requirements into Hyperion Rules Engine
parameters
• Create and manage project schedules and plans
• Prepare and present project briefings
Financial Knowledge
• Solid understanding of the financial function
• Ability to develop Financial Statements and internal reports
Required: Hyperion Planning (minimum 2 years with Ver. 11.1.1.3; Hyperion reporting;
Tool Administration; Systems Analysis; perform configuration of tool; Understanding of BA
Process and SDLC/IT Lifecycles; Hyperion Rules Engine
