Position Description/Responsibilities:

 

CA SiteMinder and RSA Authentication Manager Administrator

 

 

Job Description                                                   

 

 

1.             General Requirements:

 

·               Full understanding of administration of CA SiteMinder Policy Server, Sun ONE

 

Directory Server in Solaris 9 and Solaris 10 environment.

·               Full understanding of administration of RSA Authentication Server along with

 

RSA SecurID tokens in Solaris 10 environment.

·               Undestanding of web single sign-on with eBusiness environment using IBM HTTP

 

Server, IBM WebSphere, IIS Web Server, Dominos web server

 

2.             Tasks (General Description):

 

·               Installation, configuration and maintenance of CA SiteMinder Policy Server

 

version 6, version r12 and Sun ONE Directory Server 6.0 and above; running on Solaris 9 or

 

Solaris 10 servers in sandbox, development, QA and production environments.

·               Installation, configuration and maintenance of RSA Authentication Manager

 

Version 6 and above running on Solaris 10 servers in sandbox, development, QA and production

 

environments.

·               Troubleshooting of problems, performance tuning and day-to-day

 

administration activities.

·               The person should have experience with SiteMinder connectors and

 

session-linkers for SAP, PeopleSoft, Documentum environments and TAI agents.

·               The person should have experience with form-based, certificate-based,

 

SecurID-based authentication and Integrated Windows Authentication.

·               The person should also have experience with SiteMinder Federation services.

·               The job also involves keeping track of the Service Packs released by CA, Sun

 

or RSA and applying them as and when necessary.

·               This position involves close interaction with web administrators whose sites

 

are protected by SiteMinder and users of RSA SecurID tokens..

·               The person would be working closely with the web administrators and website

 

owners addressing their problems.  If needed he should be able to act as a liaison between

 

CA or Sun or RSA technical support and the web administrators. The person would also be

 

working closely with Solaris Administrators.

·               The position requires willingness to be on call rotation 24X7 for production

 

environment.

·               We expect this person to keep up with changing technology, particularly in

 

the reporting or information delivery environment; and one who can demonstrate the

 

resourcefulness to learn whatever is needed to get the job done.  We are looking for a

 

candidate who has a high level of intelligence, creativity, and adaptability.

·               Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

 

with at least 5 years of experience in IT (three years in administering CA SiteMinder Policy

 

Server, Sun ONE Directory Server, RSA Authentication Manager environment).

·               Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·               Solid oral and written communication skills; ability to present and explain

 

technical information to end users in a simple way.
