Title: PL/SQL Datawarehouse Developer

Location: MD (local consultants are given first preference. F2F after telephonic)

Duration: Long Term

Description:

7+ years in PL/SQL Experience
5 years in Data Warehouse Environment
Summary: Position requirements are to develop an enterprise data warehouse from end to end and provide production support for existing data marts.

Duties will include accessing/analyzing source systems, write PLSQL scripts (ETL), optimize and tune for large data volumes/loads, develop dimensional data models

Responsibilities:
- Develop end to end enterprise data warehouse
- Develop type 1 and type 2 dimensional tables
- Ability to analyze and access source systems needed for the data warehouse
- Understand and develop dimensional models using snowflake technique
- Work closely with data warehouse team to deliver user requirements
- Write ETL (extract, transform and load) scripts using Oracle PLSQL
- Ensure data quality
- Manage deployment of database changes into different environments (Development, QA & Production)
- Investigating and resolving system deficiencies and implementing fixes and enhancements
- Documentation of the system

Requirements:
- Oracle developer experience
- At least one business intelligence reporting tool
- Advance understanding of SQL
- Logical and physical database design skills
- Tune and Optimize processes in Oracle
- Data modeling experience

Qualifications:
- 7-9 years in PL/SQL experience

- 4-6 years in data warehouse environment
- 3+ years business intelligence tool
- Good communication skills
- 3+ year experience using Toad or equivalent
- 1+ year experience using data modeling tool such as ERWIN
