ETL/DB Test Designer

• Project   : Basel II QA
• Role / Designation : ETL/DB Test Designer
• Location : Onsite (US - Boston)
• Experience : Minimum : 5 Years +
• Requirement : Immediate
• Role Expectation :

Ø  Analyzing Business Requirements for creating and reviewing various test wares – Test Strategy, Test Efforts Estimate, Test Plans using MS Project, Test Scenarios and Test Cases

Ø  Testing experience in any of ETL tools (Informatica or Data Stage) is mandatory

Ø  Strong in designing Oracle SQL Queries.  Able to understand Stored Procedures

Ø  Act as Client interface for resolving all test related issues.

Ø  Should be proactive and innovative.

Ø  Should be an individual contributor and take part in Web/DB Test design, Review and Execution   

Ø  Experience in Functionality (System) testing and Regression Testing

Ø  Working knowledge of various testing methodologies for System and Regression Testing (RUP Preferred)

Ø  Experience in Web Application testing is an added advantage

Ø  Good interpersonal skills, Should be able to mentor the team and manage day to day tasks

Ø  Very good in Oral/Written/Client communication

Ø  Experience in Unix, Vi editor, TOAD (or equivalent) tool is a must

Ø  Domain and Working knowledge in Securities (highly preferred)
