Location : Albany, NY
Duration : 10 Months

Mandatory Requirements:

1. A Minimum of four (4) years experience in writing Object Oriented
software applications using JAVA 1.5 (some 1.4 acceptable), experience
typically includes; data analysis, data access, data objects, data
manipulation, data modeling, business process analysis, business
objects, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user
documentation, software conversion.
2. A Minimum of four (4) years experience developing applications
using Toplink or other Relational Data Mapping Tools
3. A Minimum of four (4) years experience developing applications
using HTML/DHTML,XML and Java script
4. A Minimum of four (4) years experience developing applications
using J2EE and the Struts Framework (Struts and Struts Validation).
5. A Minimum of two (2) years experience developing applications in
JSP.
6. A Minimum of one (1) year experience using SQL, PL/SQL, writing
triggers or stored procedures within an Oracle database environment.
7. A Minimum of two (2) years experience developing web services in
an SSL environment.
8 .A Minimum of one (2) years experience using one or more of the
following tools: Jdeveloper,ERstudio, Rational ClearCase and
ClearQuest.
9. Disclose any other employment that candidate plans to engage in N/A
while employed at NYSDOT.

Desirable Experience :

1. More than 4 years experience in writing Object Oriented software
applications using JAVA 1.5 (some 1.4acceptable), experience typically
includes; data analysis, data access, data objects, data manipulation,
data modeling, business process analysis, business
objects,programming, testing and implementation, technical and user
documentation.
2. Software conversion.
3. Experience in planning test activities — creating test schedules or
strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
4. Experience in creating test documentation and scripts— writing test
plans, scenarios, scripts,and procedures.
5. Experience in executing quality control analysis — conducting tests
and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate
functionality and quality.
6. Experience in reviewing software documentation to ensure technical
accuracy, compliance,or completeness, to mitigate risks, and to
provide input on potential problems.
