Sr. Tester - SFT Testing (Lin & Win)
Location:- Houston TX
Visa Type:- Preferably GC's, EAD'S and Citizens
Salary range:- 45 to 55K
Number of yrs: 3 - 5 Years
Responsibilities:
The System Level Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute customer-like tests at the system level of the Windows, Linux and VMware product set. The QA Eng. will have ownership and be responsible for test design, test execution, automation and tracking of the feature(s), ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Responsibilities include Automating test cases to enhance turnaround time. Perform independent analysis and design of complex system. Provide necessary support to customers.
Required Skills:
Must have protocol level knowledge in Ethernet and IP
Must have system level test experience in Ethernet and IP routing/switching devices
Test experience with network drivers
Test experience on enterprise-class servers and OSes
Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS administration, networking protocols and modern file systems
Contribute to the development and execution of system level tests
Manage activities to meet their delivery dates and report accurate, complete status
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be able to work in team environment
Hardware qualification such as HCT, WHQL Certification procedure experience is a plus
VMware experience a plus
Working experience in test case automation/execution languages a plus
