SQL Server DBA who can lead an effort that is to start no later than July 12th in Charlotte, NC. 

 

SQL Migration Work(excluding Reporting Data Warehouse)  and DBA Assessment work
Solid SQL Server 2000-2008, 2008 is a must
Solid DBA skills
Congifure and implement Merge replication
Distributed environment
Working with VMware a plus
Ability to migrate from SQL Server 2000 and 2005 to SQL Server 2008
Strong leadership and communication required
Solid understanding of security, indexing and performance tuning
Experience working at all stages of the SDLC
Ability to build and execute test plans for migration
Experience with Data Archiving a plus

 

Application Development
2 resources(1 application architect, 1 application developer) – 3 months
Strong .Net web service development
Solid understanding of SOA technology
Strong analysis capabilities
Solid understanding of SDLC
Ability to facilitate requirements to design, converting a client server app to web based
Solid SQL Server development experience
Solid hands on experience designing, developing and testing MSMQ
Experience with Google Gears
